with flavour notes of caramel and cherry
found naturally in premium cocoa beans from
Venezuela
Flowing serenely into the Caribbean Sea, Lake Maracaibo is encircled by the rarest, heritage cocoa trees from which Venezuelan growers produce the world’s most sought after Criollo and Carenero cocoa beans prized for their superb, rich flavors. This Crio Brü is a luxurious, full-bodied brewed cocoa with sweet flavor notes of vanilla and cherry and a caramelized nutty finish.

Delicious!
A great coffee substitute especially when left to brew for a very long time; it develops that strong coffee hit.

Yum!
I love this chocolate drink! My fussy 11 year old also loves it with a bit of rapadura sugar. The perfect hot chocolate drink.

Trialed ~40g with moka pot - found the grind as received was too coarse: sour, overly astringent, and lacking substance. After trial and error, found medium-fine grind did the trick: pleasant bitterness, slight sweetness, full mouth feel - reminiscent of ristretto. Moderate aroma with hint of caramel.

I find this medium roast not as bitter as the light roast. Definitely get a sense of energy when I drink it.
